Makeready Press Gallery offers a wide selection of fine art prints, vintage poster images, art for children, expert custom framing, original art exhibits, art classes and historic Main Street photo scenes from vintage post cards.

In 1993 artist and director Maureen Reddy O'Brien established Makeready Press Gallery in Montclair, New Jersey, a community 12 miles west of Manhattan, with a nationally recognized art museum and a broad spectrum of cultural activities in art, music and theater.

Montclair's diverse and cosmopolitan population includes many residents participating professionally in the arts. This atmosphere draws a receptive audience that enables Makeready Press Gallery to fulfill its purpose to nurture the appreciation of art and support the creative efforts of emerging and developing artists by exhibiting and selling their art.

Evolving from an intimate setting, showing painting, printmaking and photography, Makeready Press Gallery acquired additional exhibit space in spring 1999 and opened Gallery 214 ArtSpace in a newly renovated Art Deco Building in Montclair to expand its exhibitions
